Ordering Procedure

You may offer to purchase goods described on this website for the price specified on this website. Your order must contain your name, email address, credit card details and any other ordering information specified on this website.

Within seven days of receipt of your order, we will at our discretion accept or reject your offer to purchase. You may not cancel an order once it has been submitted, even if our acceptance or rejection of your offer is still pending.

We are not required to give reasons for rejecting your offer to purchase. If we reject your offer to purchase the goods for any reason, neither of us will be under any further liability to the other arising out of your original offer or our non-acceptance of that offer. If we have not responded to you within seven days, your offer will be deemed to be rejected. We give no undertaking as to the availability of products advertised on this website. Delivery of the goods to you will be affected in the manner described on this website.

Title in the goods does not pass to you until payment has been received.

Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon dispatch.

Payment must be effected in the manner described on the website. Retail Prices are inclusive of goods and services tax. In all other respects, the price is exclusive of taxes, duties and charges imposed or levied in Australia or overseas in connection with the supply of goods. The goods are offered for sale only to persons who can make legally binding contracts.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds / Credits

Please select your goods carefully before placing your order or ask for our written advice by placing a product inquiry before purchasing as we do not normally accept returns for refunds, credit or exchanges based on change of mind, incorrectly ordered, incompatible or unsuitable goods. Returns under this category will be at Avast Multimedia’s discretion and must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods. Please also note that these types of returns may attract a restocking fee which is fixed at the current market value less 20%.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We do not accept any returns for goods that may breach health and safety regulations. These include; headsets, ear pieces and headphones. This would be non applicable in the case of the item being faulty under the terms of the product warranty.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please Note: Due to restrictions placed upon us by the manufacturers, hardware that is defective on arrival can generally be exchanged if we are notified within 30 days of invoice. Otherwise, the manufacturer’s warranty process must be followed.

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

Return of Defective Goods

You are responsible for inspection of the goods on delivery. In the event you consider the goods to be faulty or defective you may contact us by emailing Avast Multimedia within seven days of the date of invoice for the goods to obtain a Returned Goods Authorisation for the goods. You may return the goods in their original packaging together with the Returned Goods Authorisation. Return of the goods will be at your own cost. We will examine any returned goods and if we determine that they are faulty or defective but are otherwise undamaged and in saleable condition, we will repair or replace the goods in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty. We will not accept any returned goods which we determine are not faulty or defective, which are damaged or otherwise unsaleable and/or which have not been returned in their original packaging together with the relevant Returned Goods Authorisation.

We will notify you whether we accept the return of any goods within a reasonable time of return. You will be responsible for all costs in redelivery of the goods (whether original or repaired and/or replacement goods).

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to: Unit 1, 8 Hepburn Street, Broadview, SA, 5083, Australia.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

For all returns, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the goods occurring whilst the goods are in transit (either on return to us or upon redelivery to you of the original or repaired and/or replacement goods). We will not accept return of goods otherwise than in accordance with the above.
